Want to work alongside some of the Bays best chefs, have your dish tasted by Kelli Brett, editor and owner of Cuisine Magazine and the chance to have your recipe feature in Cuisine magazine?

We’re looking for future chefs to partake in a Flavours of Plenty Festival in collaboration with Cuisine Magazine event, Battle of the Snack, on Thursday, 16 April 2026.

Nominations close on Friday 19 December, 2025.

With the help of the Bay’s top chefs, these future chefs will go head-to-head and create two hyper-local “snacks” for up to 100 people. Editor of Cuisine Magazine Kelli Brett alongside event attendees will judge the creations and will have the chance to have their recipe featured in the Good Food Awards feature.

If you consider yourself a future chef (criteria below) or know of somebody that is, then we’d love you to submit a nominee! Nominations close on Friday 19 December 2025.

• There is no age limit for nominations, however, we expect that these future chefs are at sous chef level or below.
• We would also love if you can forward this form with anyone you think may be keen to make a nomination.
• Nominations should be for ONE person, not a team of people.
